Thong Do, PhD

FOUNDER & CHAIRMAN

Thong is a serial tech entrepreneur and data scientist. He is the founder and Chairman of Palexy.

Prior to building Palexy, Thong was the co-founder and managing director of Arimo, a Big Data company that offers Data Science as a Service for global enterprises. Arimo, recently acquired by Panasonic US, was ranked as one of the top ten most innovative tech startups in Big Data and AI by Fast Company in 2016.

Thong got a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, one of the top universities in the US. He has 5 patents in Computer Vision and AI.

Duc Nguyen, M.S

CO-FOUNDER & CHIEF DATA ENGINEER

Duc is the Chief Data Engineer of Palexy where he is in charge of data engineering and data science. Duc has been an active Data Scientist at the Kaggle community and participated in multiple Kaggle Competitions with high rankings. He has achieved "Kaggle Competitions Master" since 2018.

Duc received his MS at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST).

Thao Tran, M.S

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Thao is the Director of Marketing and Business Development where she is in charge of driving growth for the company.

Prior to joining Palexy, she had multiple years of working in different industries, including luxury fashion retail. She built Runway multi-brand concept store’s position by exploring, developing and negotiating business relationships. She also led Marketing and Operations to execute campaigns and achieve sales target across multiple stores. Thao received her MS from Columbia University, USA.

Minh Truong, M.S

CO-FOUNDER & CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Minh is the Chief Technology Officer of Palexy where he is in charge of both product and engineering.

Prior to founding Palexy, Minh was a software engineer at Google where he developed APIs to rank YouTube’s comments and improved latency of Google’s Adwords engine. .

Minh got his MS in Computer Science in Iowa State University (ISU), USA.

Thu Nguyen, MBA, CPA

DIRECTOR OF FINANCE & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Thu is the Director of Finance and Business Development where she is in charge of managing the company’s finance, designing and implementing business strategies.

Before joining Palexy, she had multiple years of working experience in Financial Statement Auditing and Risk Consulting at Deloitte, one of the Big Four accounting firms in the US. She holds a licensed CPA certification from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. During her stint as a Business Analyst, Thu successfully ran a Big Data Analysis project identifying consumer behaviours to direct a new promotion program for a US-based grocery chain.

Thu received her MBA degree in Financial Management and Supply Chain Management from North Carolina State University, USA.
