Vua Nem's CEO believes AI Solutions will bring customers the best in-store experience.
Ho Chi Minh City. -- November 11, 2019 -- - After six months of successful trials, Palexy has officially partnered up with Vua Nem (The King of Mattresses), the leading retailer of bedding and sleep-related merchandise in Vietnam.
Founded in 2007, Vua Nem aims at giving customers the best sleep possible by providing a diverse range of products, ranging from various types of mattresses, bedding sets, and sleep accessories at different price points. Vua Nem also strives for excellence in its customer services, and therefore, is willing to utilize pioneering technology and methodology.
As of April 2019, there are 59 Vua Nem retail stores in 23 cities nationwide, including Ha Noi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh city. Palexy started running pilots for Vua Nem stores during the second quarter of 2019. The results have been a resounding success. Palexy has aided Vua Nem in three major ways:
Firstly, Palexy's AI technology measures with precision the most frequented areas in each store and the amount of time customers spend in each area. Afterwards, Palexy delivers the outcome not just with numbers but also visual heat maps. This solves a crucial dilemma for Vua Nem and other similar retailers - the bigger the stores, the more varied the goods, the harder it is to keep track of customers. Now thanks to Palexy, Vua Nem has gained invaluable insights into the levels of product attractiveness in its own stores, and therefore could come up with the optimal organizing system to draw customers in.
Secondly, Palexy's supreme AI technology analyzes the age groups, genders, and shopping behaviours of Vua Nem's customers. This paints a fact-based, accurate picture of Vua Nem's clientele, helping them shape its marketing strategy and target its desired demographics accordingly. Customer satisfaction and sales have both soared, especially among the younger, more tech-savvy "millennial" group, who are desensitized to outdated advertising techniques.
Thirdly, Palexy's AI Solution takes data analytics to another level by calculating the exact unique traffic and sales funnel in real time. This process narrows down the complex, sometimes hectic influx of information into accessible parameters. Then Vua Nem could make instant adjustments to its marketing, organizing, and customer service schemes. This also benefits Vua Nem's thriving online site, which is expected to contribute about 15% towards the company's revenue by 2023.
Mr. Hoang Tuan Anh, the CEO of Vua Nem, is optimistic about the company's collaboration with Palexy. He maintains that AI is an inevitable part of the future, just like the third industrial revolution used to be, and that Vua Nem will take advantage of it. He said: "The better AI works, the more we understand our customers' wants and needs, not only to improve our bottom line, but most of all, to give them the ultimate experience. Ever since we founded the company, we always want customers to be happy in our stores, but also happy after they leave and not disappointed with their purchases. By investing in Palexy's AI Solution, we could make sure of that."
